Technical Project Manager

Role Objective

As a Technical Project Manager, you will need to deliver projects by adhering to agreed timeline, budget and scope. Duties include planning projects in detail, setting expectations and schedule with all stakeholders, internal and external, and executing each step of the project. Candidate should have a strong record of project design development, execution and completion and have experience with agile development practices

Professional Know-how

Academic: BSc/BCA/BE/ B. Tech / MCA / M. Tech/ MSc
Experience: The ideal candidate has between 8-12 years of experience and has managed enterprise software development and been engaged in deployment in high-performance environments.

Working Relationships

Internal: Internal stakeholders and management team
External: End client representatives (based on project requirements) 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout the entire execution to ensure success
  • Develop comprehensive Project Plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development to implementation
  • Monitor Project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables
  • Analyze economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost-benefit and ROI standards
  • Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with stakeholders to approve and implement changes
  • Deliver multiple projects in parallel with high quality
  • Foster partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and partners
  • Prepare and present detailed insightful project reports for Senior Management
  • Guide and Mentor upcoming Technical Project Managers

Competencies

  • 8+ years of ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net, Web Forms and Win Forms experience
  • Programming experience in C# and/or Python
  • Hands own experience in providing solution/architecture to customers and in creating tools and in scripting languages
  • Experience in product development, maintenance, support and implementation and in providing estimation using industry standard techniques
  • Demonstrate expertise in application design and construction, work breakdown structure of items, design and code reviews, unit test and build activities, deployment and performance related activities, documentation, support and training/mentoring
  • Hands on experience with WCF, WPF, VBA etc.
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or 2012- Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers will be plus
  • Experience in troubleshooting, software development processes and ability to understand and implement client requirements
  • Experience working on projects following Agile methodologies would be ideal
  • Experience working with AWS or other cloud providers would be ideal

  • Ability to communicate the BRD requirements to Architects/Developers
